COMMUNITY DAY PROGRAM

HHRC serves a significant number of clients who have experienced developmental delays. These clients and their families have frequently requested referrals for other neighbor based agency which provided skills training and social services supports. Particularly for our Chicago west side and south side clients, neighborhood based resources have been very limited. We are pleased to announce the development of our Community Day Program. We provide services to individuals who have the desire and physical and cognitive abilities to participate in skills training programs including music performance, tailoring, soap, cosmetics and jewelry making. The Program offers an opportunity to address issues such as basic math, task completion, basic financial literacy and collaboration skills.

At HHRC we put our program participants first in everything we do. Our participants and their families are the core of the HHRC community. We understand that Individuals and families throughout Illinois, whether in Chicago’s North Lawndale community, Central Illinois’s city of Decatur or Southern Illinois’s Edwards County all have the same core desires and goals; to be happy, healthy and prosperous. Through Integrated Health, Parent Child Learning Advocacy and the Allied Health Career Training Program we are changing the lives of people in Illinois one touch at a time.
